Franciscan Path of Peace
Pietralunga is a stage between Citta di Castello and Gubbio, also of the path which takes place from Verna to Assisi. This path repeats the historic route that St. Francis, in his twenty years of wandering, has traveled several times to get to and from Assisi to La Verna, places he particularly loved. It grows in a medium hill profiles and sweet green valleys, houses and old churches, old castles and towers in a dominant position.
